SAVIGA V / V5 - No Sponge

SAVIGA V (Long Pips - Deceptive/Variation Type)
【Key Features and Structure】
Solid sheet structure and unique ball feel
Designed with a thicker, weightier sheet compared to standard long pips rubbers. While the thick sheet absorbs the opponent's power, resulting in a more muted feel, the resulting bite and elasticity allow for the delivery of penetrating, stretched shots.

Variational contrast and tip treatment
The tips of the pips feature a special hardening (anti-spin type) treatment, meaning the amount of spin reversal and the degree of variation change significantly depending on how the pips are deflected. By adjusting the contact point and the angle of deflection, you can intentionally mix balls with high variation with those that have a flatter, more direct trajectory.

【Playing Performance (Defense/Offense)】
Defense (Block/Chop): While it easily absorbs and suppresses an opponent's power, a full swing to actively deflect the pips can generate intense spin variation and sharp chops.

Offense (Push/Smash/Drive): Despite being a long pips rubber, it allows for high-speed attacking similar to short pips. It is also possible to execute drives by utilizing the "bite" into the sponge, forcing opponent errors with the tricky, characteristic trajectories unique to long pips.

【Control and Difficulty】
This is a highly potent weapon for players with the technical skill to intentionally deflect the pips; however, it requires a certain level of impact and swing speed, as failing to deflect the pips properly can cause the ball to slip and become unstable.

【Recommended for】
Ideal for all-round long pips players who mix defense and offense, or choppers looking to attack with sharp variations. It is well-suited for styles that go beyond simply returning the opponent's spin, actively initiating attacks to force errors.
